Other Information
Patients Participation Group - ALBRAM
The practice, and by extension our patients, benefit enormously from an active Patients Participation Group, ALBRAM, whose activities include:
• Liaison with the practice
• Newsletter
• Transport for patients to and from surgery at low cost where no other transport is available
• Annual open meeting with visiting speakers
• Minus-one club - a group for those who have lost their partner
• Patients' medical lending library
• Fundraising for medical equipment for use in the surgery and at home
This is your group, run for and by patients. If you are able to help, perhaps by co-ordinating transport or driving occasionally, please contact Ian Parrott on 01480 890096.
The group is very appreciated and supported by the practice team in all their efforts.

Compliants
Alconbury and Brampton surgeries aim to give a friendly and professional service to all our patients. However, if you have any concerns about any aspect of our service, please let us know.
Speak to whomever you feel most comfortable - your GP, our practice manager or our reception staff will be happy to help.
In the majority of cases, concerns can be resolved quite easily. However, if you feel we have not dealt with the issues you have raised as you would wish, you can write to the complaints Manager at Cambridgeshire PCT.
Patients with particular needs
Each of our surgeries is accessible to patients using a wheelchair. We also have a parking space outside each of our practices which are reserved for patients displaying a disabled sticker.
For patients with hearing problems, we can arrange special facilities. Please notify reception.
We can arrange interpretation and translation services in person or by phone for patients who do not speak English. Please let us know if you need this service when booking an appointment.
