Alconbury telephone 01480 890281
Brampton telephone 01480 454050
Both surgeries have disabled access and toilet facilities.
We do not operate personal lists - you can see the doctor of your choice. However, please bear in mind that we are a split-site practice and our doctors, some of whom are not full-time in the practice, work at both surgeries and this means they may not be working from your surgery everyday.
It is preferable for you to see the same doctor if you are being treated for an ongoing condition. If your problem is urgent you will be offered an appointment the same day, but this may not be with your usual doctor. If you request an urgent appointment you must be prepared to come to the surgery at the time of the offered appointment.
If you or your child are very ill and need to see a doctor very quickly, please tell the receptionist.
(24 Hour) Emergencies
At any time telephone 01480 890281
Out of surgery hours, between 6.00pm and 8.00am the next day and weekends, Huntingdonshire Primary Care Trust deals with urgent problems that may arise with our patients.
When you telephone your call will be redirected to the control centre. You will be asked to describe your problem in detail so that the duty doctor or nurse can be informed and prioritise accordingly.
Normally, you will be asked to come to the Primary Care Centre.
Whoever deals with the emergency will ensure that the details are passed to your own doctor the next weekday.
Please do not call at night unless your problem really is an emergency and you need urgent help.
NHS Direct
You can contact NHS Direct for advice at any time on 0845 46 47, or online at www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk.
Zero Tolerance
The practice supports the Government's zero tolerance policy and will remove from our lists patients who are abusive or violent toward team members or other patients.
Freedom of Information - Publication Scheme
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the ‘classes’ of information the practice intends to routinely make available. This scheme is available from our practice manager.
