If you have ever wondered why the GPs and our team behind the scenes seem so busy…

Here’s a little look at what our team has been up to in October.

πŸ’™We welcomed 285 new patients to Alconbury & Brampton Surgeries

πŸ“žOur reception teams answered 6109 phone calls with an average waiting time of 4 minutes and 12 seconds

πŸ“žWe also made 514 call-backs to patients of which 96% were successfully answered.

πŸ“±We sent 15803 sms text messages to patients to organise and/or follow-up on their care

🩺Our patient facing team completed 9631 patient appointments either face to face or via telephone

πŸ’ΌOur GPs and Paramedics conducted 129 home visits for patients unable to attend the Surgeries.

βœ‰οΈOur workflow team processed 4983 incoming documents

πŸ€’We issued 188 sick notes and made 592 referrals for onward care.

πŸ“ˆWe reviewed 2649 test results

πŸ’ŠOur GPs and Pharmacists issued 8181 medications

πŸ’Š Our Dispensary team issued 9345 items which is an average of 389 each day

πŸ’‰Our team administered 1341 Covid vaccines and 2493 Flu jabs. Thank you to everyone who supported the Practice by returning to us this year for these essential immunisations.

🌟We received 1550 Friends & Family responses with 98% of patients giving positive feedback that their experience on the day was either good or very good.

We did have 261 patients that failed to attend their pre-booked appointment, 16 of whom did so on more than one occasion. πŸ˜”β€” if you can’t make your appointment, please cancel it so we can offer it to someone else who needs our care.

A huge thank you to our team and our patients for supporting us in helping us keep your community healthy and cared for this October! πŸ’™πŸŒˆπŸŒŸ
