Our Mission Statement

At Alconbury and Brampton Surgeries we pride ourselves in our commitment to the provision of high quality, patient focused, evidence based medical care for our Practice population.

Out of Hours and Emergencies

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

Mental Health Crisis – The First Response Service (FRS) in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, gives those in Mental Health crisis the opportunity to get access to help quickly, by calling NHS 111 and selecting the mental health option. As with NHS 111, the service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Enhanced Access

Due to the closure of West Cambs Federation in January 24 the Enhanced Access service has been temporarily suspended. Practices are working hard with the PCN to get a new service up and running ready for April 2024.

Some additional clinics across the surgeries are currently in place to help with the additional workload, but please be patient with our staff, especially our Reception and HCA team who are working hard to fit in all the additional appointments for patients needing to see a HCA /Phlebotomist for requested bloods.
