Junior Doctor Industrial Action

We would like to advise our patients that some of our Junior Doctors are participating in the BMA industrial action for the fairer pay needed to attract GPs to work in General Practice and protect the future of GP Surgeries.

As a GP Training Practice we have 9 Junior Doctors working with us at the Practice who make an invaluable contribution to the care we are able to provide patients whilst they train to become the GPs of tomorrow.

We would like to apologise that the reduction of GPs available is likely to impact upon appointment capacity over the coming weeks as we appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience to patients.

We hope that you will be understanding of our Junior Doctors desire to ensure the sustainability of General Practice.
