Urgent Appointments Update 19.12.2023

We would like to advise patients that Junior Doctors will be on strike from 7am on Wednesday 20 December to 7am on Saturday 23 December, followed by a six-day full walkout from 7am on Wednesday 3 January to 7am on Tuesday 9 January.

As an active training Practice with 9 GP Registrars this inevitably impacts the service we deliver at a time when a number of the wider GP Team are on leave.

We have done all we can to maximise capacity but please be aware that when we have no appointments remaining we will direct patients to 111 who are best placed to triage your needs and signpost accordingly.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience and would like to remind patients that West Cambs Federation now also provide GP, Nurse, Pharmacist and HCA appointments at our Alconbury Surgery on 3 nights a week and Saturdays. If we do not have an appointment available as soon as you would like then please do ask our receptionist if anything is available in enhanced access.

Please be patient with our reception teams as they do the best they can to meet our patients needs during difficult circumstances.
